Privacy Policy
Behaviour Support 4 All (behavioursupport4all.com) is run by me, Melanie, a retired special education teacher in Canada. This page explains, in plain words, what personal information I collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What I collect
- Free guide sign-up: your email address (and first name, if you give it), so I can send you the guide and occasional emails. This is handled by my email service, Kit.
- Purchases: when you buy a case, bundle or pass, checkout is handled by Payhip. Payhip and its payment providers process your payment. I never see or store your card details. I receive your name and email so your download can be delivered and I can help if something goes wrong.
- Website visits: I use Google Analytics to see how the site is used, for example which pages are visited, roughly which country visitors are in, what type of device they use and how they found the site. It uses cookies and does not tell me who you are.
- Emails you send me: your email address and whatever you write, so I can reply.
- Website hosting: my site is hosted by Netlify, which may keep basic technical records (such as IP addresses) for security.
How I use it
- To send the free guide and emails you signed up for.
- To deliver your purchases and answer your questions.
- To understand which pages are helpful so I can improve the site.
What I never do
- I never sell, rent or trade your personal information.
- I never add you to an email list you did not sign up for.
About your child’s information
This website is for parents, teachers and other adults. I do not knowingly collect information from children. When you email me for help, please do not include your child’s full name or other details that could identify them. A description of the behaviour is all I need.
Cookies
Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. The site still works without them.
Where your information is stored
Kit, Payhip, Google and Netlify may store information on servers outside Canada, including in the United States. Each of them has its own privacy policy and security protections.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe any time using the link at the bottom of every email.
- See, correct or delete the information I hold about you by emailing me at behavioursupport4all@gmail.com. I will reply within 30 days.
How long I keep it
I keep your email address while you are subscribed. Purchase records are kept as long as needed for taxes and to help you with your orders.
Changes to this policy
If I change this policy, I will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
